Hey all:
Just scratching my head about how to get the local ip address of a server
socket???
The following code...
void __fastcall TForm1::ServerSocket1Listen(TObject *Sender,
TCustomWinSocket *Socket)
{
char temp[255];
sprintf(temp, "%s Listening...",
ServerSocket1->Socket->LocalAddress.c_str());
Memo3->Lines->Add(temp);
}
Produces the output of ...
"0.0.0.0 Listening..."
I've run the ipconfig program and my machine is getting an IP address from a
DHCP server and my chat program IS working except for this one
trace/troubleshooting item?????
Thanks in advance...
Marshall
