It doesn't matter whether the modes are the same or not on each end. The code is specific to the local socket endpoint that it is accessing. Checking for WSAEWOULDBLOCK only applies to non-blocking mode, though. However, you should always loop the reading and writing, at least, because Send/ReceiveBuf() can return less than the specified amount in either mode. Gambit
