Yes I checked my code and it is NULL. Quote: You could always re-write TIdIRC's source code to pass in the actual Nick string instead of a TIdIRCUser* pointer. Why wasn't that done in the first place? The code as is now is useless. It won't tell me who's being +op'ed. Why do I need an OpEvent if it doesn't tell me anything. Since mIRC is able to catch this, the server obviously sends the correct information, but TIdIRC has a design flaw and doesn't pass the correct values when this event occurs. Quote: Because the data is not available to begin with. This is info taken from the Receive event on TIdIRC: :TestNick!~yeah@HOSTMASK JOIN :#torqueexplorer :ChanServ!services@maxgaming.net MODE #torqueexplorer +o TestNick As you can see, the correct information is received, but the handling of that information is flawed in my opinion. I've also noticed this in the AUser->Nick in the OnNotice event, it's also NULL, while the nick is actually received.
