That is because transfers are handled using separate connections. You are hooking the main connection only, which does not perform any transers of its own, and TIdFTPServer does not provide any hooks into the secondary connections that are actually used for transfers. > How can i catch the File-Stream behind the FTP-Server ? You are responsible for providing the streams yourself to the server, via the OnStoreFile and OnRetreiveFile events. You can use whatever stream classes you want, even ones you write yourself. Gambit
