You have not deleted all old files. Note that there are in the system directory indy files too. Have a look at: http://www.indyproject.org/KB/howdoiinstallindybcb.htm "Thomas J" <monathomas@12move.de> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:43d8e579$1@newsgroups.borland.com... > I downloaded the version 9.0.17 for C++Builer did everything what was > written in thr PDF doc for installing into C++Builder. > Now I see colorful Indy icons but if I place a TIdTCPServer or a > TIdTCPClient on a form, compile and start it crash direct. > > if I execute ouside C++Builder a message come up that > "procedure entry point @Idwinsock@initialization$qqrv could not be found > in DLL 'indy60.bpl'" > > Thanks for your support

The current Development Snapshot build is 9.0.50. > if I place a TIdTCPServer or a TIdTCPClient on a form, > compile and start it crash direct. If so, then did you remove Indy 8 first? BCB 6 ships with Indy 8 preinstalled, and you must completely remove Indy 8 from the machine before Indy 9 will work. Please read the Indy Knowledge Base (http://www.indyproject.org/KB) for more details. Gambit

I downloaded the file from http://indy.fulgan.com/ZIP/ and tried the installation again 1. but in the readme.txt file of the zip file is written somethin about 9.0.4 beta 2. If I execute fullc6.bat I get errors that ...CBuilder6\Source\C6*.rsp cannot be found 3. If I try to compile an example the indy60.lib cannot be found Thanks for your help Remy Lebeau (TeamB) schrieb: > "Thomas J" <monathomas@12move.de> wrote in message > news:43d8e579$1@newsgroups.borland.com... > >> I downloaded the version 9.0.17 for C++Builer > > That is a very old build.
