From a security POV, do we _want_ other processes to be able to read
our passwords? Don't controls "know" their owning process, so could
refuse to talk to strangers? Seems simple enough for the OS to do
that.

Can't find any mention of security and edit controls on MSDN though.
Only mention I found was passworded edits aren't written to log files
during instalation.
