If you have a third-party program that is capable of retreiving the value
you are looking for, then just use Borland's WinSight or Microsoft's Spy++
utilities to see exactly which messages and parameters the program is
sending to the edit box, and then adjust your own code accordingly.  The
password boxes are standard Edit boxes, so there's not reason why you
shouldn't be able to grab the passwordfrom them.  Unless XP is doing some
special handling for them.
