Hi all, I wrote an application to do some tasks when it is receive data from
communication port. Application became a tray icon if it is minimized or
inactive.
Application check whether there are new data in the port when it is idle. I
put my code in On Idle Event, something looks like this :
if(ReceiveData) DoSomeTask();
If Application active, it works well, but when it was inactive, it didn't
work. How to fix this problem? What should I trap and how to do that so when
there are new data, my application became active? Is there another way to
check new data beside using On Idle event, because this event consume a lots
of CPU resources.
Thanks and I apologize if my questions do not match to the topic in this
news
Regards,
Agus
