That seems to be a little known function.  In BCB6 function prototype for it
is in the winuser.h header file and a reference to it is supplied by the
import library for Windows, import32.lib but the Windows help file win32.hlp
does not have an entry for it.  Mr Salzman has provided a link to the
documentation for the function so you now know details of how it works and
how to use it.

If BCB 3.0 does not find an entry for it when linking then one reason is
that BCB 3.0 is ancient.  A work-around to get past that might be to do
something like this:

From the command line.  This assumes certain directories for Windows and for
your compiler  If they are not the same on your machine then substitute the
correct paths for your machine.

  cd "c:\program files\borland\cbuilder3\lib"
  impdef  user32.def  c:\windows\system32\user32.dll
  impdef  gdi32.def  c:\windows\system32\gdi32.dll
  impdef  kernel32.def  c:\windows\system32\kernel32.dll
  implib -c  mywin.lib  user32.def  gdi32.def  kernel32.def
  del user32.def
  del gdi32.def
  del kernel32.def

This will create mywin.lib as an import library for the 3 mentioned Windows
dll's that exist on your machine.  You can then add that library to your
project and any functions provided by those dll's that were not in the BCB
3.0 import library should be recognized.
