Sorry, what you ask for cannot be done. The URL is not available during that event to begin with. That event is meant for creating the underlying browser control instance for the new window, nothing else. The URL is then supplied to the browser/window after the event returns. You will have to use the DISPID_BEFORENAVIGATE2 event instead. Gambit
