Is my application running anywhere on the network?

Hi,
I am trying to figure out how to see if my application is currently running
on the network. It is not a client/server application.

I want to know this so that when I come to do an installation/upgrade I can
detect that the application is already running and prevent the installation
from ocurring. I have already looked into CreateMutex and this works well
if I am running the application on the same machine as I am running the
installation, but not when I am running the installation from a different
machine as the application.

Thanks in advance

Regards
Trevor Keegan
