Hi all, pretty sure this must have been posted and answered before but I
can't find it so here goes.

Does anyone have any simple, practical examples of using the RepostEvent api
to place entries into the Windows Log File.  Is it possible to use this api
without have to create a message resource file (as described @
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dndllpro/html/msdn_ntservic.asp)

I've coded a basic implimnetation but my message never appears in the log
and I don't get any errors returned or displayed by GetLastError!!  I wish I
was using a service as this seems to encapsulate the event writing perfectly
:-)

Any help would be cool,
