Hi Remy First of all I need to thank you for your assistance with me, all the way in this project. Now I almost finished the my first bho project, that block any popup screens, and I need to add a feature that I really need you experience in it to decide which is the best Technical and Efficient way to have this feature added. What this feature basically do is (Enable - Disable) my bho popup killer while my bho is already registered and IE is running, so if the user selected to disable popup killer then my BHO dll, will ignore all popup windows and let them show, and if the user selected to Enable popup killer so my bho dll will kill any popup screen before it shows up.... So I though of the following 2 options and I don't know which of them is best, or may be both of them is not good 1- Save the user selection in the Registry, and my BHO dll, will check on this value in the registry before it kill any popup window so if this value = Enabled then the bho will start killing poup windows, else it will just ignore it 2- Save the user selection in INI file My questions on the above to options is: A- Will it be a problem to access a registry key to read its value for several time, in other words some times there are sites that have a lot of popup windows and the bho dll will have to read the registry value before killing each one of these popup windows B- is there any other better way... I really appreciate your help and support Best Regards
