The OnMouseDown event handler has a Button parameter for that exact purpose.
Simply test it for mbLeft, ie:
void __fastcall TForm1::ListView1MouseDown(TObject* Sender, TMouseButton
Button, TShiftState Shift, int X, int Y)
{
if( Button == mbLeft )
ListView1->BeginDrag(false);
}
