|
| Do you have IE5+ installed? CSIDL_PROGRAMFILES was introduced in v5.0 of
| Shlwapi.dll that is shipped with IE5.
|
   Hello & Thanks Remy,
   My IE & OE is:
   6.00.2800.1106 in Win2K
   5.50.??? in Win98

| You're not checking values at all. If SHGetSpecialFolderLocation fails,
its
| return value tell you why it failed.
|
When i call GetPath(CSIDL_PROGRAMFILES) my Label1.Caption is empty!
I know GetWindowsDirectory() & GetSystemDirectory() but i want
to get any special folders & need to this function.
   CSIDL_PROGRAMFILES, CSIDL_WINDOWS, CSIDLS_FONT & ....

   Thanks again,
   Safari

|
| 0x0024 is CSIDL_WINDOWS, not CSIDL_PROGRAMFILES. CSIDL_WINDOWS was also
| introduced in Shlwapi.dll v5.0. Use GetWindowsDirectory() instead for
| systems where CSIDL_WINDOWS is not available.
