just call Clear() instead when the file doesn't already exist, and call
LoadFromFile() only when it actually does, ie:

    if( !FileExists("c:\\CProjects\\test.txt") )
        Sample1->Clear();
    else
        Sample1->LoadFromFile("c:\\CProjects\\test.txt");
