Input language of the foreground window ?!!

Good Day,

I want to capture the input language of the current foreground window and
make my application "which will be running in another thread in the
background, maybe it will be shown as a tray icon " receive and have the
same input language as the foreground one
I used GetForegroundWindow() to get the foreground then I don't know what
parameter should I send to the GetKeyboardLayout() function to get the
foregound's input language not my application's input language
