Hi ,

I've wrote an application to show an image when tranfering between
programs . This application when called with one set of parameters know
how to show an image , with other set of parameters the same appliction
shuts
the fisrt process of itself . To shut down the other process i use
hPrevApp = ::FindWindow(NULL, AppCot); and then
SendMessage(hPrevApp, WM_SYSCOMMAND, SC_CLOSE, 0); to shut it down . The
problem is that the application dos'nt always work and shuts down .
I know for sure that FindWindow finds the correct window , other SendMessage
(for example changing text) always works .
This error occure usally when the user clicks the image as it loads and the
the application halts .

Could anyone give me a direction ?
I you need any more information i would be happy to post it  .
