Perhaps generated by a custom db app of your own? I guess there are a million ways for constructing a directory like site. Yours, carries an original format which is fine with me. The sitemap is very functional. How do you handle broken links? For example http://www.designmadeingermany.de/dmiq/ (in "interestingly designed sites") was broken when I tried. If you use a custom database to hold your links then could it be useful to iterate them once a while (by code of course)?
