Just guessing, but maybe someone installed some additional screensavers
and / or screensaver components that don't respond to that message

Thanks anyway - logic would say that it MUST be something that I have
overlooked or missed out. Just wanted to check that this method still
worked with the Win NT family as well as the Win 95/98. I know that the
whole screen saver set up is a bit different in 2k and runs under its own
desktop so I thought there might be something there. I'll go back and have
another look - althought there isn't much code to look at.
