Hello I am developing a C++ application which has to detect when a HDD stops working properly. HDDs are connected to a RAID controller, and the PC is running Windows XP. How could I get a state, or a anything else? Is there a API funtion which is able to read the states from the controller? Thanks for any idea or help. Tobias
