Is there a way to move the cursor under program control? Basically, I want to use the mouse as a real-world data collection device. I want to intercept the XY data from the roller ball interruptors or laser? LEDs and process it under program control WITHOUT moving the cursor on the screen. Can I disconnect the two? Why do this? Simply to create a new physical data input device that won't stop inputting data when the cursor would OTHERWISE stop at the edge of the screen. Any ideas? Thanks, Nick Gessler, Ph.D.
