I've played with these now, but I can't get the hint to remain
visible.  I can adjust how long it takes to appear and how long
it remains with the initial text displayed, but it always
disappears eventually, and I can't change the text while it's
visible.

It appears the default Hint mechanism is a one-hit-wonder.  Pop
up once, but never again unless the pointer leaves first.

I guess I'm looking for a method like ShowHintNow() that I can
put in an OnMouseMove event handler.

Any further direction on this would be most appreciated.
