Hi Martin, this morning I searched the Win SDK help files, especially RASENTRY, but did not find "default". I learnt that there is a difference between Win NT and Win 98. Win NT has *.pbk files for the Phonebook. Win 98 stores it in the registry. Maybe the Delphi global variable "Win32Platform" helps you decide where to look for the default connection. Now I searched my Win XP registry for my default connection and found it in [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\RAS AutoDial\Default] "DefaultInternet"= Regards Heiner
