Bruce, your solution occured to me this morning, but I don't know how 
to _generate_ WAV files.  Can this be done through the API?  If it 
can, I could possibly write a quicky app to generate a series of WAV 
files differing in frequency by, say, 25 Hz.  If not, I'm at a loss as 
to how to go about it.
