Hi Remy, I tried WM_NCHITTEST, but am unsuccesful somehow.
What I need for my IDE is to receive all the mouse events 
(move, click, startdrag, and so on), only the control must not 
get focus and must not show its default clicked bahaviour
(which is button getiing lowered and raised, radiobutton 
getting checked, checkbox toggling checked state).

Is this really as simple as you say?

I would like to try it, but don't know how to tell a VCL control
"don't do your default behaviour, just give me the events".


PS: I still think that if I rendered my control to a paintbox 
for instance, I would get all mouse events (of the paintbox),
but no default control mouse behaviour, as the paint box just 
represents the control, but it is not the control itself. That
sounds so simple. Only I don't know how to make my control 
render itself to another canvas. Well I asked this question in
the graphics group, so maybe I'll get an answer to this there.
