Using Win32 API Free borland Compiler I may be about to embark on drawing my own title bar. I suppose i will have to handle messages like WM_NCACTIVATE WM_NCPAINT will i need to draw a MINIMISED window When i need to Minimise. ? Some Pointers would be gratefully appreciated Or Can anyone point me toward some Code for drawing own title bar. big Thanks In Advance --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. You only need to draw when you actually receive the above messages. WM_NCPAINT is not sent for minimized windows. However WM_NCACTIVATE is. In which case, you have to first determine whether the window is currently minimized or not (use IsIconic() for that). If minimized, then just pass the message as-is to DefWindowProc() and return. Otherwise, if the window is not minimized, then do your drawing as needed and then return TRUE for the message result without calling DefWindowProc(). Gambit
