Hi all :-) When I right click with my mouse on a file and choose 'Properties' a small panel is display which include all kind of parameters that I can change as 'Title', 'Subject', 'Comments' and so on, How can I access this parameters from my code and change them during runtime? I found several codes that try to explain that but they all looks a little complicated.... What I need is only this function - SetFileCommentProperty( "C:\MyFolder\MyFile.dat" ); that will change the 'Comments' parameter of the file to - "This is my comment!" Can you please show me complete code for this function that I can Copy-Paste and see the result right away? I'm using Builder 4.0 (kind of old...) Thanks very much!

>See answer in your other thread in language.cpp Yes I read the answer in the other thread, I had been told that this question has been asked before.... but I did a search, I really did, and I only saw complicated codes that I could not understand anything from them, this is why I asked if someone can show me a code that only set the 'Comments' parameter of the file to "This is my comment", with this example I can continue on my own.... I only need the start point. I wouldn't just ask becouse I'm lazy or something... I'm really not.

From the second link Remy provided we see that you want to use PIDSI_COMMENTS Also we see other links that eventually lead to some examples. This one looks "easy" http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa380387.aspx And I'm guessing replace PID_FIRST_USABLE with PIDSI_COMMENTS and remove the read-back code.
