Hello out there, for a kind of demo application where I simulate a system tick, I would like to make it audible. But it needs to be very very decent - just a little 'click' ... 'click' ... 'click', so that the user can relate the system tick to other actions. This is quite new territory for me and any help or advice will be greatly appreciated. Best regards Helmut Giese

Beep( 5000,10 ); Also, if you record a wav of your tick, MessageBeep() might be available if you register the sound.

Yes, Beep looks very promising. However, when using it I just discovered that the machine I'm currently at doesn't produce _any_ sounds - strange, I never noticed that it remained silent during booting. Ok, I'll get this fixed and then we'll see. Many thanks. >Also, if you record a wav of your tick, MessageBeep() might be >available if you register the sound. Oh well, if Beep comes sufficiently close to what I want I won't bother. Thanks and best regards Helmut Giese
