Hi, I've hit a rather sticky problem. I have a form, that is inherited from a base form. I have created multiple constructors for this inherited form. Borland hits a stack overflow (at run time) whenever i use one of my overloaded constructors to create a new version of this inherited form (constructors that i have created that can accept paramters other than 'owner'). The set up that I have compiles OK, it just causes problems at run time. The overloaded constructors have code in them, but the constructor of the base form is empty. The error seems to occur when the base form constructor is called, before it ever reaches the code in the overloaded constructor of my inherited form. It seems to be having a problem where the base class is calling TForm before its base class of TCustomForm, and its getting into some horrible recursive error. Any help greatly appreciated, this seems a pretty fundamental problem. Best, Stu Kruse The Open University s.a.kruse@open.ac.uk
