HELP! ChartFX 3.0 won't install on BCB4

Has anyone else come across any part of the following scenario:

1. Install BCB4, and open BCB3 project with ChartFX graphs on it
2. Uninstall ChartFX 3 and delete all files starting cfx.* or ChartFx.*
from my PC, so ensure no old files exist.
3. Reinstall ChartFX 3.
4. Add the ChartFX activeX component to the user-defined package
(dcluser40.bpl) to add the TChartFX component
to my toolbar.
5. I then attempted to compile my application. I was prompted for a copy
of ChartFX.hpp, so I dug the deleted one out
of the recycle bin and returned it to the include directory, as no copy
of this file was supplied by reinstalling ChartFX 30.

6. The compiler then prompted me for a ChartfxLib_TLB.obj. I didn't have
one, so I deleted the
#pragma link "Chartfxlib_TLB"
references from my code. This got rid of that error message
7. It then couldn't compile the ChartFX.pas file, so I removed it from
the project
8. After this I again got an Access Violation on reaching the
cfxSLR->CloseData(COD_COLORS);
command.

As you can see I'm in need of help. Thanks in advance for any that is
forthcoming.
