Not trying to start a "software jihad" here,
I have noticed that some posters to this group
are familar/experienced with Delphi and are
now using C#Builder.

I am very experienced with Delphi developing
custom applications for small businesses ...
presently using version 7.  Am wanting to
"expand my horizons" and want to become
proficient with a .NET compiler.

I am curious why someone familar with Delphi
would switch to another product , eg C#Builder.
I suppose that C#Builder must be a superior
product in the .NET environment as compared
with Delphi 8 ... or Delphi for .Net (whatever the
name is)?

Also, I hate to say a vulgar word but I recently
purchased a copy of MS VisualStudio C# ...
got a good price as I am eligible for education
version.

Now, given the above, I am looking for help/guidance
on the best .NET compiler .  Any suggestions?
