I prefer C# for ASP.NET, since you can't use Delphi 8 inside an .aspx
page (you can only use it for the code-behind and any supporting
assemblies).

Also, Delphi 8 has had a lot of bugs, so that's another reason I didn't
want to "upgrade" from Win32 Delphi to .NET Delphi. I'm sure Delphi 9
will be better.

I guess your real question is: why would you want to use C# Builder
over Visual Studio?  Borland has not come out with service packs for C#
Builder, and many people think they've virtually dropped this product.
I think this will be integrated together with the Delphi 9 release.

whether you prefer Borland C# Builder, or Visual Studio, either way
they are generally quite similar. And all 3 of these (C# Builder,
Visual Studio, and Delphi 8) are quite dissimilar to previous Delphi
versions, so there will be a learning curve for you.

By the way, did you know about the Atlanta .NET User Group? They meet
at the Microsoft office the last Monday of each month. The C# User
Group meets the first Monday of each month at the same location.
