Hi

I want to store items pictures in the database. I create a table with blob 
field like bellow.
I have about 4000 item.  Every item picture is 350x250 and about 14KB to 
50KB.

CREATE TABLE ITEM_PICS
(
ITEM_ID VARCHAR30 NOT NULL,
ITEM_PIC BLOB SUB_TYPE 0 SEGMENT SIZE 80
.


Is  ( ITEM_PIC BLOB SUB_TYPE 0 SEGMENT SIZE 80 ) suitable for that pictures 
??

What about performance in Selecting and network 10/100 ??

What about database size ??

Is there any recommendation or advices ?
