I am trying to open a frame at the position of the button clicked. I am
taking the mouse position using
e.getX() and e.getY() on mousePressed where e is a MouseEvent and trying to
assing the value of x and y when calling frame's setLocation() method but
still the frame is opened at the desired location/position.

I cannot figure it out what I am doing wrong.
