Hi, I am developping in java 1.1 for windows and unix. I have a problem when I display disabled text field : With windows they use a lighter color to show that it is disabled but it is easy to read With Xwindows I cannot read a disabled field ! For my application I need to be able to read disabled text field Is there a way to keep the field disabled with the normal fonts and the special effect unreadable text ? Is there a way to disable this function on the X server ? Is there a way to disable the effect on the font in java when textf_1.setEnable(false) ? Thanks for your time Xavier ps : could you also reply by mail my ISP has a really bad news service.
