We are interested in writing a serverside application and/or servlet that accesses a database, then connecting to this servlet with an applet, as opposed to establishing direct JDBC connections from the applet. Due to security, and DB load balancing this seems to be the best way to pull off a high traffic site. Any ideas on what we should use to pass result sets back to the applet? thanks, Derek
