I have gotten some of the components to appear properly in the designer (some I have not tried yet) but when I try to change their properties in the inspector some times it works and other times it does not. I have compiled and run what I have done so far using swing. Are you using a JFrame to place your components on? You should read the message I posted in the non-technical newsgroup about using JFrames in JBuilder. It is posted under the name Vito Paladino. The JFrame seems to make the other components work better although the components do not drag and drop or resize as easily.
