I am working on a project where we have arrays of upto 64K objects, in this case the objects are of type byte. The question that I have is, how di I access this stuff? Since an int is a 4 byte signed entity, anything over 32K becomes a negative number. When I try using a long as the index into the array, I get compile time errors. How does one access arrays that have more than 32K elements? Mark E. Thompson
