Is this an awt bug? : I make a class inheriting a Frame. I use a border-layout so that the component I add is resized with the window frame. I then add a ScrollPane component. I then add a Canvas object to this scrollpane (my class which inherits Canvas). I then resize this Canvas expecting the the scrollbars for the ScrollPane to adapt, but nothing works right. First when the Frame is shown the scrollbars are sometimes there, and sometimes not. When I resize it, sometimes they disappear, sometimes I get half a scrollbar in the middle and sometimes i get them but indicating the wrong area. Totally useless in other words.... :( Also, calling repaint from within the canvas-inherited class just erases the canvas and never calls the paint member function... :( Another bug? Thanks for any help, John
