I have a Java Web Start application. I need to use BasicService and ServiceManager classess which are in JDK 1.4 in the javax.jnlp package. I am using JBuilder 6 Enterprise and JDK 1.3.1. In this version of JDK javax package does not have jnlp... What should I do? With jdk 1.4 JNLP became part of the J2SE. Will JBuilder 6 work with JDK 1.4.1. I ran into a few threads on the newsgroups that this is not recommended. Any help will be appriciated

As a _target_ JDK, it should be OK - I haven't seen any messages to the contrary. Of course, you don't want to run either JB6 or JB7 _using_ JDK 1.4.anything (i.e. as the JDK that actually loads and runs JBuilder) - that's unsupported.
