IE4 works ok
I tried
DataInputStream thePage = new DataInputStream
(myConfigFile.openStream());
with
while ((aLine = thePage.readLine()) != null){
and Netscape 4 still throws
netscape.security.AppletSecurityException: security.class from local
disk trying to access url:
http://www.netserv.net.au/witchy/admin/adminCfg.txt
# UniversalConnect privilege not enabled: Contacting and connecting
with other computers over a network
|Silly question, but the file adminCfg.txt *is* on the server with the
|applet (and in the same dir as the HTML file), right?
Yep sure is
