So Java's power lies on intranet applications not internet applications. So i guess html and cgi, and ISAPI are the only alternatives to developing internet applications. So my question is why write in java what c/c++ can do? especially if you are only targetting windows os? Besides the argument that java is a better language, I figure if you have a good set of libraries then then should not make such a big issue. Another is, is it java's support in example networking, rmi, etc. make it a better language? B/c it has all the necessary components to create a better application?
