Hi does anybody know how to get the value for an environment variable?. I am looking fro an equivalent on "getenv(String)" method. In java.lang.System class there is a "getenv" method, but is deprecated. There is no information on what the alternate method is. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Rekha
