I wrote a simple java applet. All it does it show a menu and some of the
menu selections have sub menus.  When i run it it is dog slow.  I have
to click on the sub menu several times to get it going.  But the none
swing version ( basically removing the J in from Menu and MenuItems,
etc. ) it works great.  Has anyone every experience this. I'm using
swing0.6
