The attached zip file contains a simple project where I am adding a new circle object each time I click. As you can see this does the original painting OK, but when the window need to repaired, either by being maximized or by being uncovered from another window, the paint function of the component is not being called by the parent. Is there something small I am doing wrong, or am I doing this all wrong? I know I can do this by creating an array of objects and manually doing a repaint, but in my understanding of the object relationships, once I add() the component to the panel, the panel object should take care of calling the repaints for its children when they need it.
