I just got my copy of jbuilder and have been studying the manuals as well as a sybex book on jbuilder. One thing I have not found is a discussion of how one can execute an external program -- possibly one on a remote computer. I guess what I need to know is how to setup a simple server program that a jbuilder app can communicate with. Can anyone suggest appropriate references to read or even an example? I want to communicate with a program running on a Sun solaris 2.6 system. Thanks! -- F. James Rohlf (rohlf@life.bio.sunysb.edu)
