Last night, the U.S. House of Representatives approved the Republican Cut,
Cap, and Balance deficit plan to bring the federal government's endless
cycle of borrow and spend, borrow and spend to an end once and for all.

I want to congratulate Speaker John Boehner and House Republicans for
their tremendous leadership in this effort.

Republicans in the House have done their job -- now we need the Democrats
who control the Senate and the White House to do the same. It's time for
Harry Reid and Senate Democrats to show more than lip service and prove
they are ready to end their addiction to reckless spending by passing the
Cut, Cap, and Balance plan and send it to Barack Obama for approval.

America simply cannot continue down the road to public insolvency and 
economic ruin.

It's up to Harry Reid and Barack Obama to accept their responsibility to
the American people and make Cut, Cap, and Balance the law of the land --
and you can help.

We have to show the Democrats in Washington we mean business, by word and 
deed. That's why I need you to do two things.

First, add your name to the RNC's petition to remind Barack Obama and
Harry Reid we won't tolerate a debt ceiling hike without a rock-solid
commitment to Cut, Cap, and Balance the federal budget. And then help us
support the election of more fiscally conservative Republican candidates
who won't forget who they work for -- and won't spend any more money we
don't have -- by making a contribution of $25, $50, $100 or more to the
RNC today.
