I find it : somewhat hypocritical that in spite of that, we can have a gathering of 50,000 : people lasting several days, with the participants present during peak : traffic hours. If the facilities don't meet the need, why does CU continue to offer the stadium to the PK group? I think CU is just as much at fault for facilities problems as the PK group itself. Perhaps CU should have built more parking for a stadium so big if they planned on leasing it out to outside groups other than student activities that require much less parking because many students live withing walking distance? Perhaps CU should have offered more public restrooms (this in response to a post about PK attendees urinating on a lawn). Perhaps CU should not be so greedy and ask PK to move to Mile High for their meetings? Perhaps PK should move just because of these reasons? I don't know. I don't have the answers, but I think that CU is answering those complaint lines alongside PK volunteers (I think they are volunteers anyway?) becuase they want to limit their "public liability" for the mess they helped create. Does CU have a contract with PK to provide facilities for 50,000 people? If so, do they deliver on thet promise, Boulderites? What do you think? -- Nathan N. Duehr - nduehr@netcom.com Pvt.
