Actually, I have a bit more information about TCI.  I work for KUCB
radio, CU campus radio station.  Until recently, KUCB could be heard
on 530 AM, 104.1 Cable FM and ch 40.  We have lost our listeners on
chanell 40 due to an administrative decision of the nationals at TCI.

From what I understand, we were pulled as background noise on the 
character generated station because we were not appropriate.  We feel
that this decision was unfair because there were no complaints, and
we as a local Boulder non-profit station were making a contribution
to the community with our local news, and upcoming event announcements.
We follow all FCC regulations, and play music catering to the college
"alternative" scene.

From my past experience with TCI, I would not be surprised if they were
censoring these ads.  However, I also must ad that they do continue
to broadcast us on 104.1 cable FM, but to listen to this you must
get a cable splitter (which we do give out for free, e_mail for info).

Oh well, at least concerning KUCB, they are well within their rights.
